Tannadice boss Alex Smith is ready to make signing decisions on the three most recent guests at the club.

Spaniard Raul Sanchez looks likely to be offered a short-term deal which would keep the 20 year-old Barcelona midfielder at Tannadice until the end of March and 19-year-old Crystal Palace winger Steve Hunt is another possible fixture - that is if he continues to impress boss Smith in another closed-doors friendly against Ross County.

The situation concerning Latvian international midfielder Valerijs Ivanovs is more complicated, in that he was called home on domestic business prior to the completion of talks on his future here on Tayside. Alex explained, "It is likely that I will ask him back, especially as I see him as a player who would easily blend into our squad. He is comfortable in a holding midfield role, and that would release Danny Griffin to play elsewhere."
