Recent signing Mvondo Atangana impressed in Monday night's under-21 meeting with Kilmarnock at Tannadice, getting both goals in a 2-0 victory. His performance delighted boss Alex Smith, who confirmed on Tuesday that the Cameroon star is now very much in his thoughts for a starting place against St Mirren at the weekend.
"He showed great composure in front of the goal and might have had a hat-trick; he had what looked a good third to me chalked off," reported Alex. "His overall play was good and he also has electric pace, which is something we have been lacking up front."
