Manager Paul Sturrock is continuing talks with goalkeeper Alan Combe and while nothing is sealed yet, United are edging towards striking a deal with Alan, who has been with United since 17 June 1998.
Meanwhile, ones for the future, John Duffy and Blair Sturrock, have signed new one year deals. Both players are products of Dundee United Boys Club and whilst Paisley-born John has already been at Tannadice for two years local boy Blair has just completed his first twelve months with the Club.
