Open Day On 9 August

Another Beautiful Sunday is in store this Sunday, 9th August as the annual Dundee United Open Day returns to Tannadice from 12 noon until 3.30pm. The family fun day is spent enjoying the company of thousands of tangerine clad United fans and their families as they take part in competitions, visit the many varied stalls in the concourse and watch the first team squad put through their paces on the pristine Tannadice surface. Crucially, there is the opportunity to meet, photograph and then collect the autographs of the players The event is free to enter and there will be a varied programme of events for all to enjoy with some unusual entertainment on offer, including:
  • The exceptionally popular Zorbs football
  • Karate display
  • Local pop groups
  • A unique Tannadice opportunity to see hawks, falcons and a sea eagle (amongst others) displayed and introduced courtesy of Angus Falconry Services
Wheelchair users and their carers are welcome to enter the George Fox concourse on Sandeman Street at the earlier time of 11.30 in response to requests received in order that they can have the chance to take part in the competitions and various raffles unhindered by the large numbers entering at 12 noon. From 12 noon, we kindly ask that wheelchair users please relocate to the Eddie Thompson Lower Stand. Our fantastic value goody bags, which always sell out quickly, will be available at £3 each and contain the following:
  • Lucky programme with the chance to become a match mascot
  • United squad photo
  • Comic
  • U-18s match ticket voucher
  • Mystery United gift
