As negotiations are ongoing to bring in more fresh faces, the United management team is also offloading unsettled players. Following on from Jan Talesnikov's departure, striker Joaquim Ferraz is set to move back to Portugal.
Joaquim has made 36 appearances for United since joining on 25 June 1999. In the third last game of the season he was sent off against Dundee, who were also United's opponents on the opening day of the seaon when, on his debut, 'Quim' was the match-winning substitute.
