DARREN TAYLOR INTERVIEW ON ARABZONE

16th June 2017

Head of Football Operations Darren Taylor spoke to ArabZONE today. During the interview, Darren suggested that the Manager is looking for 18 players in the match day squad where they can all make an impact on a game at any time. Darren also revealed that despite the fact the three signings already brought in all being Scottish, that certainly didn't mean the range of scope didn't travel far and suggested we can again expect to see some foreign trialists in over pre-season. Part of Darren's summer work has been speaking to players with expired contracts who the Club are keen to keep, and he expects one or two contract extensions to be confirmed next week. Darren also spoke of how Dundee United remains an appealing proposition for players and felt that the new signings who join the Club this summer will improve upon what was here before. Despite being pressed, unsurprisingly Darren refused to give any hints as to who his next targets were, but he was confident that United fans could expect to have some transfer news before the early bird period deadline for season ticket purchases on Sunday 2 July. Season ticket sales currently stand at 2525 and the Club have targeted sales of 4000 ahead of the season's start. During the early bird period, adults can secure their seat from £299, seniors from £175, u18s from £165 and U12s from £18. Tickets can be purchased online, in person at the ticket centre or by calling 01382 833166 (option 1). The full interview with Darren Taylor is available on ArabZONE now.
