FOUR DUNDEE UNITED STARS INCLUDED IN PFA SCOTLAND CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM OF THE YEAR

If you want to play your part in shaping the future of Dundee United Football Club, its relationship with its fans and how the match day experience develops, you can apply now to be part of the newly expanded Dundee United Football Club Supporters' Liaison Group (SLG).
The SLG was created last summer to encourage greater supporter interaction and after a successful trial season, the opportunity is now there for more fans to become a SLG committee member and have their voices heard.
The new format will see each of the established supporters' groups receive one position on the SLG and we invite United fans to get in touch if they wish to play a part in shaping the future alongside these supporters' groups as a collective SLG.
Up to six independent supporters will be chosen to join the SLG and all positions will be reviewed and selected on an annual basis.
To express an interest in becoming involved in the SLG for this coming season, please email Colin.Stewart@dundeeunitedfc.co.uk with a short bio of yourself and tell us why you wish to be involved in the SLG for season 2017/18. Deadline for applications is 13 September 2017.
The ideal candidates will have a passion for United as well as knowledge and experience of the issues under discussion and it would be advantageous if the applicants help the SLG reflect a cross-section of the Dundee United support regarding gender, age, location and background.
The SLG will meet regularly during the season and focus specifically on the critical issues that fans have raised. Directors and key members of staff at the Club will attend meetings to discuss operational rationale.
The SLG will provide a platform for discussion and resolution. Key issues such as ticket availability and pricing, stadium matters, relationships and communication between different supporters' groups, equality and diversity, Club communications, commercial and Club shop products will all be open to discussion.
Summary notes from each the meetings along with other SLG information will be displayed on the new Club website.
Alongside the regular meetings throughout the season, Club Chairman Stephen Thompson, directors and senior officials will meet the SLG twice per season at Tannadice to ensure the board are connected to and communicating with our support base.
Dundee United are determined to make sure that all supporters are treated equally; this is the ethos of the improved fans' engagement process. All United fans are invited to apply for a place on the SLG and supporters will be able to keep track of SLG activity by visiting the new Club website where minutes will be uploaded within seven days of meetings.
