NEXT UP: ALLOA AWAY

16th January 2018

You can almost smell the silver polish. There is always a buzz around when the Scottish Cup kicks off proper for clubs and this is undoubtedly true for Arabs.

It is William Hill Scottish Cup 4th round week and United travel to Alloa to take on Jim Goodwin's 'Wasps' for the second time this season.

The teams met back in September in the Irn-Bru Cup at Tannadice when second-half goals by N'Koyi, McMullan and Flood saw the Terrors win 3-1.

United come into this one looking for a little focus with two defeats, a draw and a win in the last four league outings.

Defeat by East Fife last Saturday has halted a four-game winning run for Alloa who currently sit fourth in League One.

Speaking to alloaathleticfc.co.uk Jim Goodwin said, "We need to pick ourselves up we have another difficult game coming up next Saturday in the Scottish Cup against Dundee United. It’s a bit of a freebie I suppose with not many people giving us a chance but we believe if we play to the standards we are capable of we can give them a good game."

Tickets for the game are available from the ticket centre at Tannadice and prices are as follows:

£16 for adults, £8 for seniors and £4 for Under 16s.

ArabZONE members who cannot make the game can listen in via LISTEN LIVE as Joe Rice and Dave Hill take you through the action from around 2.50pm.
