GRANT GILLESPIE BECOMES UNITED'S NINTH JANUARY SIGNING

26-year-old Scottish midfielder Grant Gillespie has joined Dundee United until the end of the season.

Gillespie left Hamilton Academical last week after nine seasons. He played over 200 games for Accies as a holding midfielder and he met his new team-mates at the training complex on Wednesday morning. He will be available for selection for Saturday's visit to Inverness.

Grant said, "I am delighted to join Dundee United. I come here ready to do what I can to help the Club get back to the Premiership.

"I am fit and ready to play. We have fourteen games until the end of the league campaign and I join believing that Dundee United can be a Premiership club by the summer. Joining until the summer presents an excellent opportunity for me to show my ability and secure a longer deal."
