NEXT UP: QUEEN OF THE SOUTH (H)

26th February 2018

Next up for United is a home Ladbrokes Championship fixture versus Queen of the South on Tuesday 27 February at 7.45pm at Tannadice.

United come into this one on a run of poor form that has all but ended their league title ambitions and allowed both Livi and Morton to surpass therm in the table. They must arrest the slump quickly and with 39 points still to play for, both failure and success still remains possible.

Visitors Queen of the South are only five points behind United now albeit they have played two games more and victory for the Terrors would surely mean the end of any hope the Doonhammers may have of finishing above United. Victory for the visitors would reignite hopes of a play-off place and with fifth placed Dunfermline travelling to bottom of the table Brechin, the prospect of a battle for a play-off place is a possibility should the Terrors not start to fire - and quickly.

The home record has been good once again this season and the battle-scarred Tangerine Army will be hoping this is a factor in the team putting on a good performances and securing the three points.

The match referee is Gavin Duncan and his assistants are Michale Banks and Chris Phillips.

There are pay-at-the-turnstile facilities in the Eddie Thompson Lower and Jerry Kerr Stands for home supporters as well as tickets available in both the ticket centre and the George fox ticket booth and the Queen of the South fans will be housed in the West Stand where cash turnstiles are in operation.

Prior to the match there will be a can collection in the concourses to financially support the family of Liam Colgan, missing in Hamburg, as they continue to search to bring him home.

Come on United!
