THE WESTEND FLOORING SUITE - BOOK NOW

Saturday 4 August sees the start of a new league campaign as United go all out to win the Ladbrokes Championship and the date also sees the much-anticipated official opening of the new hospitality lounge - The WestEnd Flooring suite.

The 240-capacity lounge is the result of a summer of hard work by contractors, volunteers and many valued sponsors who have worked together to produce the most elegant hospitality lounge within Tannadice.

Head of Business Development Paul Reid said, "I would like to take the opportunity to thank the various people and businesses who have delivered to produce an exceptional hospitality suite - one that allows us to take our hospitality offering for customers to another level.

"In particular, Tony Kierans from WestEnd Flooring has supported this project from the start, sponsored the suite, supplying all floor coverings, fully decorated the lounge and sourced and secured the new padded corporate match seating that is due to be installed in the coming weeks. The dedication shown has been infectious, and WestEnd Flooring has delivered all they promised in a professional and timely manner.

"There is a whole list of contractors and sponsors who have made this possible, and we are indebted to them for their efforts and support. Internally, our Facilities Manager Dean Milne and the Board of Directors had supported this vision from when it was an idea in my head and a scribble on a piece of paper in my office. Hospitality at United has a new crown jewel to be proud of."

Many companies have played a part in making the new suite a reality, and they include Logie Builders, Dundee Joinery and Orchard Timber for the construction work, RAS Crockett for the new lighting and electrical system which was done in association with Edmundson Electrical. Further credit goes to CEF Electrical, Ross Electrical, John Clarkson for all the major plumbing works undertaken, Derek Mawhinney from DM Roofing for the plastering work, Billy Hosie for the audio and visual equipment, Sharp Business Furniture for the tables and chairs, PlumbStore for all the plumbing requirements, Jim Fyffe from Matrix for the new suspended ceiling and Andrew Gibson from Scotsteel. Club sponsor Carling has also enhanced the bar areas with upgrades.
