PREVIEW

United head into this one buoyed by the victory at the Falkirk Stadium last Saturday. Goals by Pavol Safranko and Craig Curran ensured the Tangerines came home with full points. Ross County comes into this one on the back of a Highland derby stalemate against Inverness Caley.

You would struggle to slide a matchday programme between the teams in the league table with both recording three wins, two draws and a defeat from their six games so far. Both sides also have a goal difference of +4. United currently occupy third and County fourth as they pursue Ayr United and Inverness ahead of them.

Ross County should have ex-United men Callum Morris, Brian Graham, Billy McKay, Keith Watson and Michael Gardyne in their matchday squad and United will look to see the name of Fraser Fyvie back in the team following the decision not to risk him on the 4G at Falkirk Stadium. United's home form has been a mixed bag so far with one defeat, one win and one draw from home battles against Dunfermline, Partick and Morton. County has a similar away record with one win, one loss and one draw.
