TONIGHT'S BUCKET COLLECTION

There is a can collection in the concourses at tonight’s Derby in support of Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Groups (CCLG), a fantastic charity that seeks to better understand the causes and possible cures of childhood cancer.

Research into childhood cancer is extremely underfunded with as little as four pence of every pound spent on cancer research targeted at childhood cancers. 

The collection is organised by former United player Andy Stewart whose daughter Ruby has been diagnosed with stage IV Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma, a particularly aggressive form of childhood cancer, and the outlook is not good. 

The family have also commissioned a children's picture book to raise funds for the CCLG charity. For more information, to donate and buy the book, click here.
