LOUIS MOULT NOMINATED FOR PFA SCOTLAND CHAMPIONSHIP PLAYER OF THE YEAR

United will host Peterhead and Kelty Hearts and visit Brechin and St Johnstone in Group C North of the Betfred Cup after fixtures were announced today.
Our first fixture will be a visit to Glebe Park to take on Brechin on Wednesday 7 October (7.45pm) before we host Peterhead on Saturday 10 October (3pm) and Kelty Hearts on Tuesday 13 October (7.45pm) then our final group fixture is an away visit to McDiarmid Park to take on St Johnstone on Tuesday 10 November (7.45pm) - a fixture that will be shown live on Premier Sports.
The format for the competitions remains like previous years with three points for a win and one point for a draw. Drawn matches in the group stages go straight to penalty shoot-outs with the winners awarded a bonus point.
The eight group winners and four best runners-up qualify for the last 16 where they are joined by European entrants Celtic, Rangers, Motherwell and Aberdeen.
Future round dates are as follows:
Second round - November 28/29
Quarter finals - December 15-17
Semi finals - January 23/24
Final - February 28
