Looking forward to the Everton clash, manager Paul Sturrock confirmed strikers Steven Thompson and Alex Mathie will start. Thompson got a hat-trick and Mathie two goals in the 7-1 win at Brechin on Saturday. "I told them before the game that the strikers who were scoring goals would keep the jerseys. They did that on Saturday so they will face Everton tomorrow."
Paul is looking forward to a good test and a big crowd to pay tribute to Malpas as he comes to the end of his playing career. "This game marks the end of an era and I think he deserves a good turn out. It should also be the perfect way to finish off our preparations for the new season and Everton will be fielding their strongest side."
