Dundee United will begin their preparations for UEFA Europa Conference League and William Hill Premiership action with a pre-season friendly against Brechin City.

For the second consecutive year, the Terrors will kick-off their schedule by making the short journey up the A90 on Saturday 28 June.

Strikes in either half from Kai Fotheringham and Tony Watt settled the score in favour of United last year, as our Championship-winning heroes took to the field for the first time since raising the trophy aloft.

A stellar 2024/25 season for the Hedgemen saw them taste defeat on just two occasions in the Highland League, finishing with a staggering 82 points from 34 matches. Despite this, they were pipped to the post by Brora Rangers on goal difference, having to content themselves with a second place finish.

Ex-United midfielder and Manager Ray McKinnon will also embark on his first 90 minutes in the Glebe Park dugout when his former employers pitch up in Angus.
