Dundee United will face William Hill Championship side Arbroath on Saturday 5 July as their preparations for UEFA Europa Conference League and Premiership action continues.
Seven days after facing Brechin City in the 2025/26 curtain-raiser, Jim Goodwin’s men will return to Angus to toast Smoky stalwart David Gold’s testimonial - who boasts 336 appearances throughout his ten-year stint on the east coast.
Last term, the Gayfield outfit secured an immediate return to the second tier by storming to the League One title for the second time in their history under the guidance of player/manager Gold.
Our Championship-winning campaign saw United net 17 goals against Arbroath without reply, consequently securing their first league 'clean sweep' since defeating Aberdeen four times during 1998/99.
