A classic reborn: the 1992/93 limited-edition away shirt is now available in-store and online as we weave forgotten threads!
A Rare Find
In October 1992, following Bukta’s collapse and departure as Dundee United’s kit supplier, Loki took over production and delivered an updated version of the iconic 1991/92 away shirt — a design that was never made available for supporters to purchase. Now, for the first time, you can finally own it!
The Loki shirt introduced subtle changes to the original Bukta design. The traditional polo collar - with its tangerine inset and pop buttons - was replaced by a cleaner, more streamlined version featuring two stitched buttons, while the white pop buttons on the collar flaps were removed entirely.
They did, however, continue with the symbolic sublimated club crest design throughout the body of the shirt that was completed with a distinguished black trim.
