Supporters heading to Luxembourg for Thursday’s UEFA Conference League tie with FC Una Strassen should take note of the following matchday and travel information, prepared in coordination with the host club and local authorities.

City Centre Advice

Supporters based in Luxembourg City are encouraged to enjoy the atmosphere at recommended bars, all of which will be showing the match live:

  • The Pyg (Irish Bar) – 19, rue de la Tour Jacob
  • Updown Bar – 28, Montée du Grund

Please note

  • Bars are open approx. 4pm–1am (earlier if serving food)
  • Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
  • Some venues may close on Tuesdays

Local authorities advise against large gatherings in public spaces, and supporters are reminded to act responsibly at all times.

Stadium Entry & Ticketing

All tickets for this fixture are sold out, and we strongly urge fans without tickets not to travel to Differdange or the stadium on matchday. The area around Stade Municipal is industrial, with no nearby amenities, and the pitch is not visible from outside the ground and there will be ticket checks in place in the surrounding areas. 

Police will be present and may ask those without tickets to move on from the stadium area.

Travel to the Match

For ticket holders travelling to Differdange, we recommend using the free public train service:

Route: Luxembourg Central Gare → Change at Pétange → Oberkorn
Train times: Every 30 minutes
Last return train: 23:14 from Differdange

Use mobiliteit.lu or TheTrainLine.com for full travel info - late-night buses are available but not advised.

At the Stadium

  • Alcohol is available for purchase inside the stadium but cannot be brought in
  • Public alcohol consumption and drinking on transport are discouraged
  • There will be no segregation – visiting allocation is fully integrated
