Following on from the European adventures in Differdange and a gutsy performance to secure progression, domestic duties resume this weekend as Jim Goodwin’s side turn their attention back to the bread and butter, the start of the league campaign.

We’re on the road for the opening match of the new William Hill Premiership season, with a blockbuster fixture away to newly-promoted Falkirk live in front of the Sky Sports cameras.

Fresh from a two-nil aggregate victory over FC Una Strassen, where United sealed safe passage into the Third Qualifying Round of the UEFA Conference League on Thursday evening.

A determined second-leg display in Vienna saw The Terrors get the job done in front of a large vocal support in the stands. The focus now turns rapidly towards a busy domestic and continental schedule.

Following Sunday’s clash in Falkirk, the squad head back out to Austria for a mouthwatering first-leg tie away to Rapid Vienna this coming Thursday.

Return to League Duty

Sunday signals the start of another huge campaign in the top flight, and United kick off their league journey away from home against a confident Falkirk side eager to impress on their return to the top table following a fifteen-year absence from the Premiership.

The men in tangerine will be backed once more by that strong travelling support as we aim to start the league campaign on a positive note.

Ongoing roadworks near the Falkirk Stadium may cause delays. Supporters are strongly advised to allow additional travel time.

The stadium car park is expected to fill up by 1pm. Once full, stewards will direct supporters to the nearby industrial estate. Please follow signage and steward instructions.

Turnstiles open at 1pm.

Kiosks in the away section operate on a card-only basis.

Flags and drums are welcome but must be shown to stewards for inspection upon arrival.
