Dundee United FC Women are delighted to confirm the arrival of midfielder Louise Mason, subject to SFA approval.

Louise Mason

The experienced 32-year-old heads to Foundation Park, having departed Boroughmuir Thistle at the end of last season, where she was captain.

Coming through the youth system at Hibernian, Mason moved on to Rangers for a year before returning to the capital in the white and red of Spartans.

Starting in the 2009/10 season, Mason went on to spend thirteen years at the club, making over 270 appearances, with a spell in Australia at Adelaide United and then Heart of Midlothian breaking her time up.

The midfielder, who can also play in attack, is no stranger to a few teammates, having played with Katie Frew and Rebecca Foote at Spartans and Danni Findlay and Robyn Smith at Hearts, where they won SWPL2 in 2019.
