Dundee United can confirm Academy graduate Charlie Dewar has joined William Hill League One side Alloa Athletic on a season-long loan deal.

The budding English defender made 14 appearances for the Wasps last term during a successful temporary stint at the Indodrill Stadium as Andy Graham's men narrowly missed out on a place in the promotion play-offs on the final day.
