Dundee United can confirm Academy graduates Sam Cleall-Harding, Scott Constable and Calvin Beattie will be eligible to represent Airdrieonians throughout the 2025/26 campaign as part of our new Co-operation Agreement initiative with the William Hill Championship outfit.

Following recommendations by the SFA's Transition Report, SPFL clubs voted in favour of introducing the new system for 2025/26 to enhance youth development.

The initiative sees players in the key 'transition phase' (16-21 years old) given the freedom to move between a lower-league club and their parent club continously throughout the season, affording more opportunities for first-team action.

Cleall-Harding and Constable enjoyed successful stints with Kelty Hearts and Stirling Albion respectively last term, whilst 17-year-old Beattie is set to make his first venture into the senior game at the Excelsior Stadium.

The trio will remain at Jim Goodwin's disposal when called upon throughout the season.
