Dundee United can confirm Academy graduate Harry Welsh has joined William Hill League Two outfit Stirling Albion on loan until the end of the 2025/26 campaign.

The winger enjoyed his first taste of senior action in in matchups with Brechin City and Arbroath during our pre-season preparations, and finding the back of the net at Glebe Park with a stunning solo effort in the former. Welsh also wrote his name on the scoresheet against the Binos on Matchday One of the KDM Evolution Trophy in an eventual 3-0 triumph.

Alan Maybury’s men currently occupy sixth place in the table, sitting just two points off the final promotion play-off spot. The 17-year-old will have his first chance to make his mark at Forthbank this evening as his temporary employers welcome Stenhousemuir to Stirlingshire.

Everyone at Dundee United wishes Harry and Stirling Albion the best of luck for the remainder of the season.
