CONAL SHIELDS, FINLAY SIMPSON AND JOSH HOLT HEAD OUT ON LOAN

Dundee United can confirm three of our up-and-coming homegrown talents will further their development by spending the remainder of the 2025/26 campaign on loan.

Lothian-born defender Conal Shields has teamed up with Lowland League outfit Gala Fairydean Rovers, whilst boyhood Arab Finlay Simpson joins fellow Academy prospect Lewis Haldane at East of Scotland Premier Division side Jeanfield Swifts. 

Finally, Scotland Under-16 international Josh Holt will remain in the City of Discovery as makes his first foray into senior football with Lochee United, who currently occupy fifth spot in the Midlands League.
