Dundee United winger Amar Fatah spoke to the broadcast media to preview our WIlliam Hill Premiership clash with Kilmarnock on Matchday 28.
The Swede discussed his Scottish Cup scoring exploits, facing an in-form Kilmarnock outfit and keeping the Top Six flame burning whilst accelerating his personal development.
ON PROGRESSING PAST THE SPARTANS AND GETTING ON THE SCORESHEET
It was a huge result and we’re delighted to be in the Quarter-Finals. Unfortunately, I’ll miss the next round because I’ve had two yellows, but I’m glad I could contribute with a goal on Tuesday night.

It's really nice to help the team and also keep stacking up your numbers on a personal level. It's my job to score, it's my job to assist - it’s so important.
ON BUILDING MOMENTUM AS THE SPLIT APPROACHES
We’re looking for three wins in a row after a couple of good victories to keep building the momentum. We always look forward to playing at home. They're coming to our patch and three points is our target.
All the games are difficult. They're in a better form right now than when we played them last time so it will be an interesting game for the supporters and for us also to see what they bring.

For us, it’s about trying to adapt quickly and ultimately winning the game.
ON USING DUNDEE UNITED AS A PLATFORM FOR PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
I think I've progressed a lot. This league is competitive - it's a bit different from what I'm used to in terms of the physicality. But I think game by game I try to improve something different every day.
Dundee United have supported me since I arrived. I've felt like I've been guided to where I want to be and also just to be able to do what I'm good at to showcase myself. They’ve made it work for me.

I don't want to share my personal target! But for us our goal still is to be in the top six. We're fighting every match, every game to be there.
