Dundee United is proud to celebrate the continued impact of its partnership with Quest Engineering, as the club and long-standing partner work together to create unforgettable experiences for young supporters across the local community.

Led by Managing Director Gordon Deuchars, Quest Engineering has strengthened its relationship with the club over the past two seasons, building on its role as front-of-shirt sponsor of Dundee United Women by supporting a unique and meaningful mascot initiative.

Turning Ideas Into Impact

The idea was born during partnership renewal discussions ahead of the 2024/25 campaign, with a shared ambition to enhance the collaboration in a way that would extend beyond traditional sponsorship visibility. What followed was the introduction of a seasonal mascot package covering all home William Hill Premiership fixtures at the CalForth Construction Arena at Tannadice.

Rather than utilising these opportunities commercially, Quest Engineering has chosen to give back, donating each mascot experience to local charities and grassroots sports clubs across Dundee. The result is a powerful, community-focused initiative that provides young people with once-in-a-lifetime matchday memories.

A Matchday Like No Other

From the moment they arrive at Tannadice, each mascot is immersed in a truly special experience. The day includes a behind-the-scenes stadium tour, access to the first-team changing rooms, and the chance to meet the players ahead of kick-off. Mascots can watch the team warm up pitchside, collect signed shirts and programmes, and ultimately walk out onto the pitch alongside their heroes.

To ensure the occasion can be shared, the package also includes hospitality for the mascot and two family members, allowing loved ones to be part of a day that will live long in the memory.

Creating Memories That Last

Speaking on the initiative, Gordon Deuchars highlighted the importance of community connection and creating opportunities for others: “I’m regularly asked by local clubs and organisations for raffle or auction prizes to help raise funds for great causes. The mascot package is a real win-win; it brings people closer to Dundee United while supporting the community at the same time.”

This initiative stands as a shining example of how football partnerships can go beyond branding, delivering genuine social value and strengthening ties across the city.

At its heart, this is about more than matchdays - it’s about creating memories.

Thanks to Quest Engineering and Dundee United, these are moments that young supporters and their families will never forget.
