Dundee United forward Zac Sapsford spoke to the broadcast media to preview our William Hill Premiership clash with Livingston on Matchday 33.
The Australian frontman shared his pre-match thoughts ahead of our final pre-split fixture, outlined his personal ambitions for the remainder of the season and emphasised the squad’s hunger to finish the campaign on a high.
ON HOSTING THE LIONS

We know everyone might think it will be an easy game but for us it's definitely not how we're looking at it - we know how tough an opponent Livingston can be.
They make games very difficult so we know it's definitely not going to be an easy test. Regardless of whatever position the team's in they're always going to be fighting, especially a team like Livingston.
They're very physical and it won’t be an easy test.
ON FINISHING THE SEASON ON A HIGH DESPITE TOP SIX DISAPPOINTMENT
It's definitely frustrating because at the start of the season our goal was to get into that top six. Obviously we've fallen short of that and now looking forward to the next six games including this one, we have to just try and win as many games as possible.
There's been so many opportunities to climb the table during the season where we've probably dropped points where we shouldn't have - we would be looking at ourselves in a different situation right now if we could’ve secured those results. However, that's not the case and we just got to accept that.

Given the teams we're going to be playing, we’re hoping that we can finish on a strong note then look forward to next season. Every team we’ll play in that bottom six is definitely beatable and that starts with Livingston this Saturday.
ON FINDING THE BACK OF THE NET AT IBROX
I was very happy to get back on the scoresheet against Rangers at the weekend - any attacker is. For me to end the season strongly is really important and hopefully I can continue to provide goals or assists for the team.

I had a bit of a dip in form but I definitely started the season well and hopefully I can end the season the way it began from my perspecitve.
ON THE BOSS RECIEVING THE MANAGER OF THE MONTH AWARD
It's always good to see our coach or players get individual accolades but it just shows that we’ve had good performances - that's credit to the efforts of everyone and we have to build on them.
