Dundee United is delighted to welcome 87 Lager as the club's Official Beer Partner ahead of the 2026/27 season, introducing a beer created exclusively for the club and its supporters by AB Brewing Co.

Named in honour of Dundee United's famous UEFA Cup run to the final, including the home and away triumphs over FC Barcelona in 1987, the brew celebrates one of the greatest chapters in the club's history. Inspired by a team, a campaign and an achievement that remain etched in Tannadice folklore, the lager has been created to honour a defining era in Dundee United's proud European story.

Fittingly, the story comes full circle. Brewed in Barcelona, 87 Lager creates a unique connection between the city where the Terrors recorded one of Scottish football's greatest European results and a beer crafted exclusively for the club and its supporters.

As the club marks the 40th anniversary of that unforgettable UEFA Cup run with a series of events and celebrations throughout the season, 87 Lager will proudly play its part in commemorating a legacy that continues to inspire generations of supporters.

Created by lifelong Dundee United supporter Colin Wilson and AB Brewing Co., 87 Lager was inspired by a simple belief: that the best beers are those with a story at their heart. Rather than creating something that could belong anywhere, AB Brewing Co. set out to craft a lager that could only belong to Dundee United.

As part of the partnership, 87 Lager will be poured exclusively in the newly branded Club United Lounge and the Fan Cave, both proudly sponsored by 87 Lager, and will become a key part of the matchday experience for supporters and hospitality guests alike.

Fans won't have to wait long to sample the club's new official beer, with the first opportunity to enjoy 87 Lager coming at the opening Dundee derby of the 2026/27 season, when it makes its highly anticipated Tannadice debut.
