Dundee United can today confirm midfielder Vicko Ševelj has joined Azerbaijan Premier Legue side Neftçi PFK for an undisclosed fee, subject to international clearance.

An ever-reliable figure in the centre of midfield, Vicko joined the Terrors in the summer of 2024 on a free transfer from NK Radomlje and went on to make 88 appearances for the Tangerines.

Sevelj won Player of the Year in his debut campaign at Tannadice, whilst also playing a key role in our UEFA Europa Conference League fixtures last summer.

Everybody at the club thanks Vicko for his efforts in Tangerine and wishes him all the best in his future endeavours.
