Manager Paul Sturrock's late arrival home from a foreign scouting trip meant the squad had an afternoon training session.
With the exception of David Worrell, everyone is fit and David Partridge will be added to the squad after serving a suspension last weekend.
Meanwhile confirmation has come from Canada that skipper Jason de Vos can play against Motherwell on Saturday week, before flying off for an August 15 World Cup date against Mexico. That, of course, means he will still miss the first derby of the season at Dens Park.
