Dundee United Bar Manager at Tannadice Park : Part-Time Position
The role’s main objective is to ensure the first class delivery of matchday and non-matchday bar events.

Tasks & Responsibilities
Staff planning and co-ordination – organise rotas for the part-time front of house staff. Communication with staff. Staff briefing and supervision on matchday and other events. Help co-ordinate staff check-in/check-out process.
Cash management – work with the finance department to manage floats and set up and complete all cashing up procedures.
Bar management – support the team to manage all of the bars in line with the club’s licence.
Stock control – manage stock ordering (and rotation) for the bars and other non-food items as required for our events. Audit stock to minimise waste and optimise levels.
Supplier liaison – co-ordinate orders and deliveries with key suppliers. Help review suppliers where required.
Promotion and sales of function suite hire.
The managing and cleaning of beer lines.
Administration – complete purchase order requests for all orders and delivery notes filing. Work closely with health and safety advisor to ensure all paperwork is complete. Complete wastage sheets for non-food materials and stock. Manage staff timesheets.
Uniform management – manage the department’s uniform requirements on a weekly basis.
Cleaning and room set up – work closely with the stadium management team and the part-time staff to ensure a cleaning and room set up/turnaround schedule is in place.
Plan events and advise accordingly. Be a key point of contact for clients during events. Help manage event-related complaints.
Staff training – provide support for staff training where necessary.
General – attend department and club operational meetings. Be a key holder for the stadium. Support efforts to promote the club and drive business.
Your hours of work will be two four hour shifts per week, you will be required to work all home matches as well as various evening and weekend functions where either six, eight or ten-hour shifts shall be required depending on the event.

Tannadice Matchday bar Staff required
Dundee United are now hiring confident and customer focused matchday bar staff to work as part of a team at Tannadice in our various hospitality suites and bars at all home matches. Experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. We require you to be well presented, friendly, approachable and applicants must be 18 or over. Successful candidates shall receive a competitive hourly rate working varying hours each and every matchday.
