Dundee United announces Gary Dempsey as the new Head of Sports Science.

Gary comes to the Club after a high-profile career in rugby sports science where he held roles at high-performance teams Bradford Bulls, Glasgow Warriors, the Scottish Rugby Union, England's International team and the English Institute of Sport.

Gary said, "I am excited to become part of the Dundee United family. I have taken on this role because I was impressed with the facilities at our disposal and the future vision for the Club. I hope to play my part in helping United develop players and secure success."

Sporting Director Tony Asghar said, "I see bringing Gary to Dundee United as a real coup. His experience at such high-profile and high-performance outfits will be invaluable in improving our sports science analysis, and I also look forward to him implementing what may well be new ideas for football that he has picked up in other sports.

"Gary's appointment improves our coaching and support staff set-up as we gear up for the start of the season as we look to take on our championship challenge and I am delighted to have brought him to Dundee United."

Dundee United also confirmed today that Physical Preparation coach Csaba Gabris and Video Analyst Stewart Brown are no longer with the Club. Both leave with the best wishes of everyone at Dundee United as they pursue their future careers elsewhere.
