Dundee United has signed midfielder Adam King. The ex-Swansea man has signed a three-year deal with the Club.

Adam began his career at Hearts before moving to Swansea as an 18-year-old. While at Swansea he spent time on loan at Crewe Alexandra, Southend United and Mansfield Town. He has represented Scotland at Under 18, 19 and 21 levels.

Adam said: "I cannot wait to get started at Dundee United. Having spoken to the Head Coach, visited the High Performance Centre at the University of St Andrews and had the opportunity to train with the players currently here, I was in no doubt this is the ideal place for me to continue my development and improve as a player.

"Everything about this Club is geared towards progress and improving collectively, and I already feel very much part of the Club."

Head Coach Robbie Neilson said: "Adam is a quality midfielder who has enjoyed the experience of developing at a top English club and he is the ideal age to come and continue his development at United. He has shown both in training and during the pre-season games that he will be an asset to the squad and I am pleased to have secured his signature."
