EVERYONE UNITED | OUR NEW COMMUNITY TICKETING INITIATIVE

24th August 2023

Introducing Everyone United - our new ticketing initiative with the aim of bringing everyone together through football.

Following a successful trial run at our home match versus Dunfermline, Dundee United FC, Dundee United Community Trust and ArabTRUST have partnered to give thousands of pounds worth of tickets to those who may otherwise not be able to attend a matchday at Tannadice Park.

The club will also match every pound donated in order to ensure ticket distribution meets demand, with fans able to make an impact and help those in need by donating to our just-giving page.

Each pre-season, we will compile the names of fans who donate to this project and they will be displayed in one of the following ways:

AMOUNTS UP TO £50
  • Name displayed on our Everyone United digital wall - housed on the club's official website.
AMOUNTS OVER £50
  • Name displayed on our Everyone United wall - housed in the club's main reception.

Dundee United’s Chief Operating Officer Joe Rice, said: "It is evident that a significant portion of our local community cannot afford to attend entertainment or events such as football matches. With help from our Community Trust, the Everyone United project can ensure those who may not otherwise be able to attend a match can do so for free."

"This initiative replaces and enhances the ticketing project that ArabTRUST administered last season and the hope is that collectively we can ensure more can enjoy football at Tannadice. I would like to thank ArabTRUST for their efforts last season with ‘Access for All’.

“We also want to remove the stigma for those accepting free tickets. The aim of Everyone United is to eradicate this view - making everyone feel valued and welcome at Tannadice Park."

Dundee United Community Trust Chief Executive Jamie Kirk, added: “We’re really excited to be part of this innovative approach to community ticketing.  Whether it be the impact of the cost of living crisis, caring responsibilities or a requirement for accessibility support; there are many people in the city who will find it difficult to attend a football match.

"The beauty of Everyone United is that it will tackle several barriers to accessing games at Tannadice Park.  There are no labels, just an opportunity to come along as guests of the club to enjoy the game.”

Kevin Keenan, Chairperson of ArabTRUST said: "ArabTRUST are pleased to be part of this new and more formal partnership Everyone United - given the wonderful opportunity it has to deliver for the club, fans and wider Dundee United community.

"ArabTRUST would like to thank all those that kindly supported their Access to Football initiative last season.  Your very generous donations made football happen for many individuals that would have otherwise missed out.

"Let's as fans all get behind Everyone United."
