INCREASED CAPACITY FOR RANGERS GAME

After a positive meeting with Dundee City Council and Health and safety authorities, we are delighted to confirm agreement on increased capacity for our first home cinch Premiership match versus Rangers on Saturday 7 at 12.30pm.

Use of The Eddie Thompson, George Fox and Carling West Stands have been approved in accordance with our Guide to Return policy, necessary permissions, associated Covid-19 protocols and subsequent seating arrangements. 

We are confident that the plans approved by the authorities should mean the capacity is ample for all eligible season ticket holders but to maximise the capacity, we are encouraging season ticket holders to group together with other season ticket holders who are friends and family where possible. This will ensure better provisions of available seating. 

To this end the timetable for collection of ticket is as follows: 

From Thursday 29 July 5pm: Season ticket holders in groups of 6-15 persons can apply by emailing tickets@dundeeunitedfc.co.uk with the following information now. Please provide the full name(s) and the full 13-digit barcode (no spaces) of all season ticket holders in your bubble. 

From Monday 02 August 10am: Season ticket holders in groups of 6-15 persons can apply in person at the Club Ticket Office. Please note that due to current restrictions we are asking that only one person from each bubble attend the ticket centre with the required information of full names and season ticket 13-digit barcodes. 

From Tuesday 03 August 10am: All season ticket holders regardless of group size can apply either in person at the Ticket Office or online through the Club website. Once again we would ask that season ticket holders group where they can with other friends and family season ticket holders to maximise capacity. 

The collection window will remain open in-store until Wednesday 5pm (Online until 11.59pm).

Please be advised that the above collection period strategy has been planned to ensure as many, and hopefully all, season ticket holders can be accommodated for this match. It is worth noting that implementing this strategy will proactively ensure more season ticket holders can attend rather than give any priority to groups. 

Due to the above protocols and in order to maximise capacity, you will be asked to select an available seat(s) from our seating plan and it is unlikely that your season ticket seat will be available for this game. Season ticket holders from all areas of the ground can sit together in groups if blocks of seats remain available.

We thank Dundee City Council for their support and look forward to welcoming our 4600+ season ticket holders back to Tannadice in a safe environment for everyone to enjoy football.
