Neil Heaney has left Dundee United by mutual agreement.
The 30 year old Middlesbrough born player was signed in the close season last year from Darlington and made just eight starting appearances plus he came on as a substitute on six further occasions. He made his debut against Celtic in a 1-2 defeat on July 30th 2000 at Tannadice in an SPL match on the opening day of the 2000-2001 campaign.
