JIM GOODWIN RECEIVES THIRD GLEN'S VODKA MANAGER OF THE MONTH AWARD OF THE SEASON

On his return from holiday, Manager Alex Smith announced first details of the team's build-up for the next season. Preparations will kick off with a pre-season tour of Austria (opponents for three matches still to be confirmed), to be followed a series of local warm-up games on 16th July versus Brechin, on 20th July versus Arbroath, versus East Fife on 23rd July and finally, versus Alloa on 25th July 2002, all with a 7.30pm kick-off.
The pre-season schedule will reach its climax when the U-21s will contend with Montrose in the 2001-2002 Forfarshire Cup Final on 27th July at Links Park (3.00pm kick-off) whilst, at the same time, the first team travels south to meet with Coventry City on 27th July 2002 (3.00pm kick-off). Details regarding admission fees will be announced shortly.
On the injury front, the Manager confirmed that Jamie McCunnie would report to Fernbrae Hospital tomorrow for a minor knee operation.
