2nd February 2006

Dundee United has entered into an agreement with local company Scotia Flowers.

Supporters will now have the opportunity to buy official Club bouquets of flowers online at the new website www.dundeeunitedflowers.co.uk.With Manager Craig Brewster providing new inspiration for fans on the park, this new initiative ensures that things could be said to be blooming off the park as well.

Dundee United Director Derek Robertson said, "We are delighted to enter into this partnership arrangement with local company Scotia Flowers. Fans will be able to have fresh Dundee United themed flowers delivered direct anywhere in the UK and all in unique Dundee United packaging. Whatever the occasion, this is the ideal gift, but especially with Valentine's Day just around the corner. There is now no excuse for any of our fans to get a red card for forgetting this, or any other, special day!"

Shaun McLean of Scotia Flowers said "We are delighted that United has seen the potential of this venture and are very excited by this agreement. It is also a great time for us to launch this service with Valentine's Day coming up and to mark this event we have a special offer of 12 tangerine roses called 'Love Is in the Air' available to the fans. There is also a great range of other bouquets which will appeal to everyone regardless of the team they support. "

Fans can choose from 'Tangerine Sensation', 'Tangerine Delight' and 'Famous Five' and there is also a whole range of other bouquets available on the site for the less die hard fan. The bouquets are made, packed and despatched by Scotia Flowers for fans throughout the UK and Northern Ireland and delivered direct to the door on the specified date. The flowers are sent in specially branded boxes to ensure that they arrive in perfect condition and the box also contains a personalised message from the sender on a Club branded gift tag.
