Dundee United B round off the cinch Reserve League Cup Group Stage this afternoon as they welcome Dunfermline Athletic to Foundation Park.
The Terrors currently sit just one point behind city rivals Dundee in second place having played a game fewer, and therefore head into their final group match in the knowledge a victory will see them leapfrog the Dees into pole position.
Matchday Two of the competition, which unfolded back in November, brought victory for both sides - United running out comfortable 4-2 winners at the Falkirk Stadium whilst the Pars routed Dundee on home soil.
Brian Grant and Andy Payne's charges reached the cinch Reserve League Cup Semi-Final last term, ultimately losing out to a Kilmarnock side featuring multiple first-team regulars.
The fixture marks the beginning of a Dunfermline double-header, with our senior side set to travel to East End Park this Friday for cinch Championship Matchday 29.
