Dundee United Youth Development Board Awareness Event

21st September 2018

Dundee United Youth Development Board (DUYDB) are holding an awareness event at the Ross County match on 29 September

DUYDB have already invested over £60,000 directly into the Youth Academy projects and are looking to encourage individual membership applications as they commit to working directly with the Club towards gaining Elite status within the Scottish FA's 'Project Brave' youth football programme.

United fans can pledge monthly amounts from only £5 and can do so either by filling in an Application Form or by using GO CARDLESS (Quantities of either £10 or £20).

For those wishing to make a one-off donation, please email youthdevboard@arabtrust.co.uk for more details.

The Dundee United Youth Development Board is made up of representatives of ArabTRUST, Dundee United Business Club, United Ladies of Tannadice and Dundee United Development Association and is sponsored by Westend Flooring and is independent of the club.

Several Club legends have agreed to become patrons of DUYDB alongside honorary patron Paul Sturrock. Paul Hegarty, Maurice Malpas, Hamish McAlpine, Davie Dodds John Holt, Ray Stewart, Kevin Gallagher and Andy McLaren are all signed up as patrons. Each of these players came through the ranks at Dundee United and went on to achieve individual and team success at the highest levels of the game.

Dundee United has a proud record in producing and developing youth talent, and DUYDB is committed to continuing this trend. The belief is that by assisting the club to achieve Elite status in Project Brave, this will go a long way to ensuring the best young talent continues to come through the ranks at Tannadice - and you can play your part in this by signing up now.

All monies received are collected via an independent bank account and are forwarded to Youth Academy projects sanctioned by DUYDB. Already so far  DUYDB have committed the funds for the following list:

- Youth Academy Head of Medicine and Sports Science position.

- Medical Equipment including a defibrillator.

- High-level youth tournaments costs at Oakham (2 years).

- Full match kit for all Academy teams.

- On-site gym equipment at Youth Academy GA Arena base.

Dundee United Youth Development Board is rightly proud of the above efforts and wants individual United supporters to join as members and directly assist Dundee United in continuing its national reputation for producing some of the best home-grown players Scotland has ever produced.

Sign up now and play a significant part in shaping the future of the Dundee United Youth Academy.
