Looking ahead to Saturday's Forfarshire Cup Final at Links Park, Montrose, Youth Team Coach Paul Hegarty commented today: "With the first team away to Coventry this weekend, we will field a mix of youth and senior players tomorrow. It will be a real test versus Montrose as they have a lot of experience in their ranks. In terms of its timing, the game is of course part of our pre-season build-up for the forthcoming campaign but, unlike other fixtures over the last weeks, it is a competitive match which we are determined to win."
"We hope that the youngsters fielded tomorrow will make further progress, as with last year, and break into first team and continue to play first team football on a regular basis. The senior players have worked hard in training and shown excellent commitment and attitude and, hopefully, that will rub off on the up-and-coming players."
