UNITED TICKET OFFICE BUSY

13th July 2002

The United Season Ticket office was an extremely busy place both today and yesterday with almost seven hundred season tickets sold in just one and a half days. Sales for the forthcoming 2002-2003 campaign have been extremely brisk over the last seven days following a slowish start. General Manager Bill Campbell commented, "we were running behind not just last season at first but also the 2000-2001 season however the momentum has now got going and we had passed the equivalent figure from two years ago by the close on Saturday. The target is now to catch up on the sales rate for last season."

Season Tickets are on sale from the Club Ticket office at Tannadice Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm and can be purchased using a credit card over the phone on 01382 833166. Postal applications are also accepted.

The SPL season kicks off on Saturday 3rd August with United away at Firhill. The first home match is a week later with Kilmarnock the visitors.
