Looking ahead to United's next pres-season friendly at New Bayview tonight, Manager Alex Smith announced that he was planning to play a strong team: "We will bring in Allan Smart and Derek Lilley upfront to boost the strike force and have Danny Griffin back after injury to strengthen the defence. Also available are injury-comeback men Jim Paterson and Mark Wilson who will continue to gather first team experience. Charlie Miller, on the other hand, may be rested as he has been carrying a slight injury. Steven Thompson will come on at some stage from the bench."
