DAVIDSON ON LOAN TO STIRLING ALBION

The Club confirmed today that Hugh Davidson has agreed to go on loan to Stirling Albion until January. Manager Alex Smith commented: "Hugh continues to train with United yet this move will allow him to play regular first team football every Saturday afternoon. I think it will do his match fitness and confidence a lot of good and hopefully renew his ambition to regain a first team starting berth at Tannadice. His last two seasons were marred by illness and a series of niggling injuries and a few months at Stirling will give him the time and space to rediscover his old form."
