Eddie Thompson, Chairman of Dundee United has sent a message of good luck on behalf of the Club to Celtic ahead of their UEFA Cup Final in Seville on Wednesday evening.
The Chairman said, "Obviously as the last Scottish Club to reach a
European final I thought it was appropriate that we sent our very best wishes to Celtic wishing them ever success.
"It was a special time for United 16 years ago when we reached our UEFA final and, although the final result did not go our way, it is something that true supporters will never forget.
"Celtic's progress to the final has also been a great boost for Scottish football and I am sure that all United supporters will wish them well in Seville."
