GG HEADS UP THE J LEAGUE

4th June 2003

Gordon Grady has been appointed as the manager of the Dundee United J (Junior) League project. The DUFC J League, which currently operates out of Gussie Park has been so successful that the Club has decided to expand the project with Gordon at the helm.

"The DUFC J League comes under the auspices of the Commercial section of the Club" commented General Manager Bill Campbell. "To take the project to the next stage, we need someone to devote a considerable amount of time and energy to it. Gordon fits the bill perfectly and because it is a Commercial project, he will remain in the sales side of the Club allocating his time between J League and selling advertising, sponsorship, hospitality etc."

"I am very much looking forward to the taking the J League a giant step forward," commented Gordon. "It will be a major challenge and considerably different from what I have been involved in since I came to Tannadice. It will be a very football orientated project and will radically alter much of the working week that I have been used to."

Paisley-born Gordon is now in his seventh year at the Club and has become a well known figure to both commercial customers and supporters.
