United's knee-injury victims from the Emerald Isle, Danny Griffin and David Worrell continue on the comeback trail.
In the case of Belfast man Griffin, if he gets the thumbs-up from a specialist on Friday, the Northern Ireland cap will appear for the Under-21s on Monday with view to making his long-awaited first team debut within the next few weeks.
Dubliner Worrell, who suffered a further setback during the close season, is now back in training and ready to begin stepping up match practice.
