OPEN DAY SUCCESS

25th July 2004

Once again, the Annual Open Day was treated to one of the best days of the summer, and the sunshine brought United fans out in record numbers.

Chairman Eddie Thompson made a welcoming speech to great applause and the various stalls did a roaring trade before Manager Ian McCall introduced the first team squad to the crowd.

After being put through an extensive work out, the players took to their seats in the East Stand for a lengthy autograph and photograph session. Judging by the queues, this was an extremely popular attraction.

Dave Bowman and Andy McLaren managed to get their hands on the Scottish Cup again and this was also a popular photo 'opportunity'.

Everyone seemed to judge the day a great success and thanks are due to everyone involved.
