Dundee United today confirmed that, with regret, Dave Bowman has left the Club as a result of the recent managerial changes.
Amicable discussions between Chairman Eddie Thompson and Dave Bowman were held today and both parties expressed disappointment at the end of his most recent association with the Club and regret at the way certain matters had been reported. However, both parties also accepted that these matters were, regrettably, part and parcel of the game. Contrary to earlier statements, Dave would like it known that he has not requested the return of medals or other memorabilia and wishes the Club to retain them on his behalf.
Dundee United would like to thank Dave Bowman for all of his efforts on behalf of the Club and wishes him the very best in his future career. Anyone who knows Dave would never doubt his passion for, and commitment to, Dundee United and he will always be welcomed as an honoured guest at Tannadice.
